When I first joined IDF back in 04, I would have never guess this board would change my life the way it did.
I was a big AI fan, I wanted to joined a forum that was very active and fun. I first joined the Americanidol.com board, but it was lame and wasn't organized. I googled to find another board and found Idolforums.com under google.
My life completely changed once I got caught up on IDF. I'm not gonna lie, IDF is like a drug, an addiction. The more you post, the more you need.

I even fell inlove with a few IDFers, even wanted to visit and probably moved across the country to live in Singapore with one of my IDF crush. Once she stopped posting, I fell out of love and fortunately didn't move across the country to see her in Singapore. But another IDFer asked me to move to Texas and so I did.
Half of my life evolved around meeting friends on IDF. But once they stop posting. It made me lose a sense of connection with the person.
This forum can sometimes consume a person's life.

Have any of you guys felt the same way? Or had change your life?

Um well I've never fallen in love with anyone here... But I've definitely made some close friends and friends that I will probably be friends with for life, thanks to IDF.

It hasn't changed my life, but I've def met some cool people here! I was even on this three week college thing with someone here but we didn't realize it

I don't know if it's changed my life, but I've met some amazing people because of this forum.

I've met some cool ppl here and for me i find its easier to say a lot of things on your mind u just wouldn't in real life u know, its easier to speak your mind easier and be urself when u know in a way that ppl aren't gonna judge u for it (like friends and family)

I agree.

I met someone on IDF who was so obsessed with me she harassed and stalked me in real life. And she still won't leave me alone. It's annoying as hell.

Yeah I agree with most posts here... I've met some really awesome people on IDF. It's part of my day coming on here lol! I've even met a couple in real life and they are even nicer in person.

ive met some pretty awesome people here, even met some of my best friends here..well we met and then talked on idf haha

oh Raina...I Love your sig. It's just so funny. I wonder who the stalker is? That's terrible.

What about leaving IDF?..oh you just can't leave the attention that has been given to you. I didn't know I meant so much to you ...If you leave I won't feel the connection IDF has brought to both of us.

Seriously, I had to change my phone number because she wouldn't stop calling, leaving voicemails, and texting. And I blocked her email address so she couldn't email me, then she used a different one. Blocked that, and she used a different one. She's relentless.

Wow that's terrible. I had an IDFer who was a complete bitch, she was inconsiderate for my feelings. She made me hid in the closet because she didn't want her boyfriend to know i was in Texas.

She was the one that asked me to move to Texas..it was not my idea, then when I got there, she was cold and distant from me. Told me not to call her, but that's what friend do right? they call and hang out. She was just being a complete jerk. She was so mean to me.


While we were still in Texas driving after the AI tapping, she was being so mean, telling me to shut up and that I annoyed her. Every little thing i did, she kept saying shut up. Even another IDFer notice how awful she was being to me.

Before we left LA, I wanted to get breakfast because I can't go on a far road trip without eating breakfast. She didn't want to stop by anywhere because she had to rushed home(probably had to go see her boyfriend), she stop by a gas station with just chips and soda. I told her I didn't want that, I wanted real food. She said, "get your freaking ass in that store and get whatever it is in there". Mind you, this is my car she was driving, my gas I was paying.
Then on top of that, she was talking to her boyfriend, I don't know maybe to make me upset. telling him how much she misses him, and when she sees a motorcycle, it reminds her of him. She not only was inconsiderate about my feelings, she had to shove it in my face about her boyfriend.

I bet you were really obsessed with her anyway and talked complete sh-t about her boyfriend just because of your jealousy, too. Went on some two-hour-long screaming rampage about it. Funny stuff.

No, a girl should never talk to her boyfriend or say how much she misses him! How dare she!

It's totally cool for someone to call someone else thirty times in a row screaming voicemails and crying about how they should be spending 24/7 together. Not.

I wouldn't be talking about her boyfriend if he wasn't a pathological liar who treated her like shit. He freakin force her to drink alcohol and force me to suck on her tatas while I was intoxicated with alcohol. yeah, I'll be honest, I did enjoy touching her and feeling up all on her, but i felt bad the next day. I didn't want to do anything that would make her feel uncomfortable. I wanted to respect her feelings and her wishes. I admit, I'm a young adult that hasn't experience much life, and to be around a guy like that, makes me hate him more. For him to lie and hurt her, then watching her forgive him over and over and being a jerk to me, hurt me 100% more.
